K-9 Mattis Legend T-Shirt
Honor the life and legacy of one of Americas most decorated Police Dogs with our K-9 Mattis Legend T-Shirt, created in tribute to a true Hero.
K-9 Mattis proudly served six years with the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety as a Dual-Purpose K-9 specializing in Patrol, Tracking, and Narcotics Detection. Throughout his career, he became the most decorated K-9 in the departments history, earning the Officer of the Year Award, the Directors Award, and even a Purple Heart after being injured during a courageous 30-foot apprehension in the line of duty.
Beyond his service, Mattis and his handler, Sergeant Mark Tappan, inspired communities across the nation through public appearances, childrens education, and even television features on Americas Top Dog, Live PD, Good Morning America, and more. Together, they became advocates for the K-9 profession, embodying loyalty, bravery, and service.
In retirement, Project K-9 Hero was honored to cover 100% of Mattis medical care, ensuring he received the dignified post-service life he deserved. While Mattis has since crossed the Rainbow Bridge, his story continues to inspire, and his memory will always remain part of the PK9H Pack.
This exclusive T-shirt was designed to honor his legendary service and remind us of the sacrifices made by Americas working dogs. Every purchase helps us provide medical care, food, and end-of-duty services for retired Police K-9s and Military Working Dogs nationwide.
