Natural Psyllium Pellets are apple and molasses-flavored digestive support pellets formulated for horses. Made with psyllium seed husk, a natural soluble fiber, this supplement helps support normal intestinal function and the natural movement of sand and dirt through the digestive tract.Psyllium absorbs water in the intestinal tract and forms a gel-like consistency that helps increase bulk and support normal digestive clearance. This makes it a useful addition to the feeding program for horses that graze or eat from sandy soil, dry lots, paddocks, or other ground surfaces where sand and dirt ingestion may occur. The palatable apple and molasses flavor helps encourage acceptance, while the pelleted format makes the supplement easy to mix into daily feed. The 40 lb size is a practical option for barns, multi-horse households, farms, and long-term digestive support programs.
